Even after mentioning several times that I must discontinue blogging and reblogging, I feel terribly guilty about not posting anything for today. However, for the first time, there is nothing more than a few of the most recent articles to reblog, and nothing new to post. So, here is one of the recent aticles.

I live in a community with a neighborhood association and I would be written up with a lien on my house if I kept it a weedy mess like our post office.

The Post Office here fills its lot, so the trees around it are merely street trees with trees in the Plaza across the road. The street tree in the picture may be one of those that no one know who is supposed to maintain it. The Department of Public Works maintains the street trees there, but may believe that this particular tree belongs to the Post Office.

The local garden club started taking care of the PO, but then were kicked out as it is a federal building.

The area around the Post Office in Felton does not seem to be maintained, except by someone in the neighborhood who keeps the side that faces his street groomed. He put a lot of thorny cacti and yucca right next to the sidewalk, but at least it is neat and weedless.
