We still get them here. There were lots around at the start of lockdown, mainly with rainbows painted on or NHS for our health workers.

Well, it is not something I would want in my garden either, but I do like seeing them about in public if they make people happy.

It’s still happening here, though not to the same extent as three years ago. My daughter and painted and hid a bunch that summer. Keep meaning to do more, as there are PLENTY of rocks in my Pennsylvania soil!

There is one in a hanging pot at work that I leave there just in case the person who left it returns. (Many of our guests return at the same time annually.) I should find it a friend, just so that the person who left it there does not think that it was not noticed, or just ignored.
